Watched The Damned last week, I thought it strange but entertaining. I got a bit confused with the film changing from Portland to Weymouth all the time. I enjoyed it though!
I managed to record it!! Will watch it tonight!! At last...
If I remember rightly he saw it usually in a fuzzy blur due to high level of alchohol but as you say b/w just pictures the Island perfect
Hi Everyone...Dont forget anyone whos been waiting to see 'The Damned',your need to stay up into the early hours of tomorrow(Sat).The film is on BBC2, 0205-0340,those who dont well you may wish to record it.

Ive arranged for a friend of mine to make a recording,so if i cant stay up at least i will have the film!

not sure why its on so late...They screened it for the first time last autumn at the same time!
I was suprised at the Portland locations including some caves at the Bill?Mind you it could have been Shepperton....
Theres a 'gang' scene in...
The Damned is being shown on BBC 2 this Friday/Saturday morning at 2:05 in the morning! I will have to stay up to record it as I do not know how to programme my video! Had better get some coffee in!!!
I would love to borrow it if possible Gwyneth. I live in Poole and the moment but plan to come down soon!
I've got a very old VHS copy of it - I think Oliver Reed drives an E-type Jag. Not one of his best films but a must for anyone who knows Portland.

- Hi Scott, the picture was taken in Channel View Road; the car used to belong to my husband, but he sold it a few years ago. We were using the car for our friends' wedding that day - I was chief bridesmaid!
